Singer and actress Saki Takaoka's first official fan club "But Beautiful" has opened!

Fanplus Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Motoshi Sato), which operates fan sites for music artists, opened the official website and official fan club for singer and actress Saki Takaoka on Friday, October 4, 2024.

The fan club "But Beautiful", which encapsulates her charm as a singer, will offer advance ticket sales exclusively for fan club members, as well as blogs, videos, voice recordings, photo content, and even a Q&A session where the singer will answer any questions or concerns fans may have.
Also starting today, advance tickets for "Saki Takaoka Birthday Live 2024" will go on sale for "But Beautiful" members.

She made her debut as a singer in 1988. She released five albums by 1991.
At the same time, she also worked as an actress, appearing in many dramas, films, and stage productions.
In 1994, she won many awards, including the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Actress for "Chushingura Gaiden Yotsuya Kaidan" and the Japan Academy Award for Best Actress. Her main appearances include the dramas "Ooku: Hana no Ran", "Tempest", and "Tightrope no Onna", the films "Waiting for Kafu" and "Theatrical Version Tempest 3D", and the stage plays "Mayfly Pass", "39 Steps", "Like Ashura", and "Adventures in the Country of Kihsham". In spring 2013, her lead role in the film "Monster" (original story by Naoki Hyakuta, directed by Akiko Oku) was released. In 2014, she appeared in the NHK Taiga drama "Gunshi Kanbei". In April of the same year, she appeared in the stage play "The Strange Incident That Happened to a Dog in the Night" (Setagaya Public Theater and others), and in October to November, the stage play "Juliet Street" (Bunkamura Theater Cocoon and others). Furthermore, to mark the 25th anniversary of her debut as an actress, Takaoka Saki released her first lifestyle book, Takaoka Saki But Beautiful (Takarajimasha), in February 2014.
In October 2014, she released her first album in about 23 years, "SINGS-Bedtime Stories-," and resumed her singing career. Since then, she has also performed live at various festivals and events. In August 2017, she released the bossa nova album "Sings-Daydream bossa," and in December 2018, she released her 30th anniversary best album from Victor. She has also been actively releasing 7-inch records. Her latest work, a cover of Bobby Hebb's "Sunny," released in April 2020, was released in both Japanese and English by Shintaro Katsu, and attracted a lot of attention.
