Formed in 2013, the band made their major debut in 2015 with the mini-album "Variety" from EMI Records. Since then, they have released one original album every year and have been steadily performing live, and in December 2019, their first nationwide arena tour "The Garden of Eden" in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka (attracting 80,000 people) sold out in one day. In July 2020, the fifth anniversary of their major debut, they released their first greatest hits album "5", which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking and the Billboard Overall Album Chart. At the same time, they declared the "end of Phase 1" and suddenly announced a hiatus.

After a hiatus of about a year and eight months, the group resumed activities in March 2022 with the current lineup, marking the start of "Phase 2." In July of the same year, they released the mini-album "Unity" and held a one-night comeback concert "Utopia." The song "Dance Hall" from the album has surpassed 400 million total plays, the fastest number of times for any song played. They also provided the theme song "I am the Strongest" for the movie "ONE PIECE FILM RED," wrote the theme song "Soranji" for the movie "From Lager with Love," and won the "Excellent Work Award" for "Dance Hall" at the 64th Japan Record Awards.

In 2023, the 10th anniversary of the band's formation, they released their fifth original full album "ANTENNA" in July, their first in four years since "Attitude", and held their largest arena tour "Mrs. GREEN APPLE ARENA TOUR 2023 "NOAH no HAKOBUNE" in three cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi, and their first dome live "Mrs. GREEN APPLE DOME LIVE 2023 "Atlantis" in August. In addition, they won the "Record Grand Prize" at the "65th Shining! Japan Record Awards" with "Que Sera Sera" and made their first appearance at the "74th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen" with "Dance Hall".

On major streaming services, 15 songs including "Magic," "Que Sera Sera," "Soranji," "I Am the Strongest," "Dancehall," "Blue Ambience (feat. asmi)," "Blue and Summer," "Pointillism Song (feat. Sonoko Inoue)," "Inferno," "About Me," "Romanticism," "CHEERS," "WanteD! WanteD!," "Shunshuu," and "StaRt" have been played a total of over 100 million times (500 million times for "Blue and Summer" and "Pointillism Song (feat. Sonoko Inoue)," 400 million times for "Inferno" and "Dancehall," and 300 million times for "About Me"), and the total number of plays of the songs released has exceeded 6 billion (as of December 31, 2023).
